WORKING TOGETHER FOR SAFE COMMUNITIES IN CANADA

The Regional Halfway House Association (RHHA) is a non-profit alliance of over 130 community residential facilities who work together to ensure the safety of Canada’s communities. RHHA supports the safe, gradual reintegration of men and women in coflict with the law within the community. RHHA members also work with various other agencies to improve integration and communications with criminal justice services throughout Canada. Please see our FAQ to learn more about the ways in which our facilities contribute to the safety of all Canadians.

FOSTERING COLLABORATION AND COMMUNICATION

Canada’s community-based residential facilities provide an essential bridge between institutional care and the community. The RHHA network promotes the effective exchange of knowledge and resources between its members in order to provide effective evidence-based programs and supervised treatment plans. Our services equip offenders with the life skills they require to become law-abiding and productive members of the community.
